Erminia Moscato - Actress

Erminia Moscato was born in the Salerno’s countryside in 1978 where she grew up with her two older sisters Carmina and Annamaria, in their parents’ farm, in contact with nature and with their farm animals.
Growing up Erminia wants to become an actress and when sixteen, supported by her older sister Annamaria, who accompanies her, takes part in the few castings and fashion shows available in the area. It is during one of those events that she is awarded the title of “Ragazza Cinema OK” and proclaimed winner of the same competition.
She begins to work as a performer in some clubs and discos in the area and during one of these evenings she meets Pino d’Angiò, who asks her to join his choir for his shows.
In Amalfi, during her performance at the “Rino Gaetano” award she meets Pino Scarpettini organizer of the event who offers her to join the roster of artists collaborating with him.
Erminia then decides to move to Milan where she studies dance, singing and acting.
She collaborates with Pino Scarpettini for several years for the “Rino Gaetano” award, for the “Giovanissima” singing contest.
Invited by Scarpettini, she moves to Leghorn to stage the musical “May Be” a travelling show in Italy, in which she plays the leading role and for which she cures the choreography.
After some years spent in the Tuscan City Erminia returns to Milan, to deepen in particular cinematography; she is chosen for several theatrical and television roles, (Crozza Italia Live), Enrico Bertolino (Glob), Gene Gnocchi (L’almanacco del Gene Gnocco), few sitcoms (Tutti a Bordo) and several commercials aired on main national broadcasters (Vodafone, Formaggi Svizzeri, Prodotti per la Casa), she is protagonist of the feature “La Scomparsa” (Firenze Film) and participates as co-star in the musical ‘Pirates’.
She fosters her classical dance training by participating to the Classical Dance Theater School at “Teatro alla Scala” Milan.
She is founder and organizer of the International Festival “Moscato Tap & Jazz fest” (www.moscatotapmilano.com).
Erminia attends classical dance lessons on a daily basis with her historic teacher, Walter Venditti, among other passions she nurtures: skeet shooting, skiing, swimming and she is tourist flight pilot.
